The 4S 40A Lithium Battery BMS Protection Board (Balance Charging) is a battery management circuit designed to protect four-cell (4S) lithium-ion or LiFePO4 packs from common failure conditions while balancing charge across the cells during use. It suits DIY power banks, e-bike packs and portable tool battery packs.

Key features:

  • Cell Configuration: Designed for 4S lithium battery packs at a 14.8V nominal pack voltage.
  • Continuous Current: Rated for up to 40A of continuous charge and discharge current.
  • Overcharge & Overdischarge Protection: Automatically disconnects the pack when any cell exceeds safe voltage limits.
  • Cell Balancing: Built-in balancing circuitry helps equalize voltage across all four cells during charging.
  • Short-Circuit Protection: Cuts power instantly if a short circuit is detected on the output.
  • Compact PCB: Small footprint fits easily inside battery packs and enclosures.

It’s a practical safety layer for any 4S lithium pack built from 18650 or similar cells.
