The 4-Channel 5V Relay Module (Active Low, Optocoupled) is a four-relay interface board that lets a microcontroller switch mains-voltage or high-current DC loads safely and independently. Each of the four 10A relays is driven through an optocoupler, isolating the logic-side control signals from the switched load.

Key features:

  • Four Independent Channels: Switches up to four separate AC or DC loads from a single board.
  • Optocoupler Isolation: Each channel is optically isolated, protecting the controlling microcontroller from load-side noise and voltage spikes.
  • Active-Low Trigger: Pulling an IN pin low energises its relay, matching common Arduino and Raspberry Pi relay libraries.
  • High Current Rating: Relays are rated up to 10A at 250VAC or 10A at 30VDC per channel.
  • Screw Terminal Blocks: Each relay has a labelled screw terminal for safe, solderless load wiring.
  • Status LEDs: Onboard LEDs indicate the on/off state of every channel at a glance.
